Carey Smolensky, a native of Wilmette, IL, is a dynamic Businessman and Entrepreneur who began his family of companies with Mobile Music Interactive Entertainment in 1978 while he was still attending New Trier West High School in Northfield, Illinois.  In 1984, Carey won the title of Mr. United States, the male equivalent to the Miss America competition, while completing a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Loyola University in Chicago; all the while, expanding his business and bringing a new style of interactive entertainment to Chicagoland. In 1987, Carey launched Carey Smolensky Productions, a full-service event and entertainment production company, serving clients locally, nationally and globally.

Through Carey’s continual evolution of his company, came the creation of the umbrella company of CSP Worldwide Event Management. This division has produced thousands of events for corporate and social clients worldwide. Carey’s CSP umbrella now house’s not one but six cutting edge companies; CSP Worldwide Event Management, Carey Smolensky Productions, Mobile Music Interactive Entertainment, STORM Interactive Entertainment, Custom Specialty Promotions, and CSP Video. In addition to his companies Carey is a respected motivational speaker, voice over artist, author, recording artist, and actor. Carey has earned awards such as “DJ of the Year” – Biz Bash, “Lifetime Achievement Award” – EEA Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards, Gala award for “Best Entertainment Concept” – Special Events Magazine, and a variety of other awards .

Carey is the author of the book "Living Life with Passion and Helping Others". Published December 2015, this book is an embodiment of how he lives his life. Carey is Executive Producer of The Passion Summit; an annual event of two life-changing days, in the Chicago area, to ignite your passions, fuel your existence, create purpose, help others and be part of a lifelong global community. In 2020 Carey released his 8th song as a recording artist while he is constantly challenging himself, both physically and mentally, and giving of himself in donating his time, talents and self for numerous charities. As a founding board member of Front Row Foundation and the annual Warm Clothing and Giving Hearts Drive, Carey has a firsthand experience in helping others. Carey has built a family-owned company and has found a way to balance business while treating employees as family and partner vendors as respected extended family.  It is rare to find one business, let alone six, that approach each client’s needs with business acumen and an emotional attachment making it personal for them without derailing the business at hand.  That is what makes Carey Smolensky and his family of companies a unique success.
